The Operations Specialist - Virtual Events role is responsible for the strategy, logistics and execution of virtual sessions for Gartner prospects and clients across the marketing funnel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, data-driven and collaborative, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They are innovative, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and across teams. This role will report to the Manager, Marketing who is responsible for the operations and optimization of our virtual programs. What you will do: Execute and Deliver Live Virtual Programs Host and execute live virtual sessions by introducing presenters, delivering scripted remarks, providing audience guidance, managing promotional announcements, and operating webinar platforms to ensure a seamless attendee experience. Coordinate event preparation and logistics by managing rehearsals, presenter access, training, materials, and session assets to support successful program delivery. Manage content publishing and presentation materials by collecting, reviewing, editing, and uploading presentations, scripts, and promotional content across webinar platforms and Gartner.com. Ensure program quality and readiness by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring event details, and partnering with stakeholders to proactively resolve issues. Manage Program Communications and Operations Coordinate stakeholder communications by supporting presenters, sales teams, prospective clients, and internal partners, ensuring timely responses, clear expectations, and smooth program execution. Support program operations and reporting by managing registration tracking, stakeholder updates, participation reporting, and promotional requests in partnership with Digital Marketing teams. Serve as a cross-functional liaison by collaborating with research, marketing, and operational teams to align priorities, manage deadlines, and support program objectives. Drive Program Performance and Continuous Improvement Analyze program performance by monitoring audience engagement, registration trends, and session metrics to identify insights, benchmarks, and opportunities for growth. Improve program effectiveness by evaluating workflows, promotional channels, and operational processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and audience reach. Advance innovation and operational excellence by recommending new approaches, supporting pilot initiatives, and implementing best practices that enhance program outcomes.
