Job description
JOB PURPOSE The incumbent will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support within the receivables, inventory, and retail sections. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and adherence to company policies and statutory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reconcile and verify company transactions to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. Prepare periodic financial reports on company performance. Assist in treasury operations to support effective cash flow management. Support inventory management and reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels. Assist in managing company debt collection and credit control to ensure proper cash flow and compliance with credit policies. Support the accounts receivable section by recording incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and following up on outstanding invoices. Prepare schedules and reconciliations for internal and external audits. Respond promptly to queries from internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with internal financial control policies and statutory regulatory requirements. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 2 to 3 years' experience in an accounting role. MUST have attained KCSE B+ and above. MUST have attained Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Statistics - Second Upper Class. CPA/ACCA minimum Level 2. Knowledge of SAP and experience in the Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage.
