Reports To Territory Channel Manager - Central What You Will Be Doing The Territory Channel Manager – Central is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion through ChargePoint’s reseller and distribution partner network. This role focuses on building, enabling, and managing high-performing channel partnerships to accelerate adoption of EV charging solutions across the Central region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed. This role requires strong collaboration with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver a consistent and effective partner experience. What You Will Bring to ChargePoint Build and develop a network of reseller and distribution partners aligned with business goals Lead partner onboarding and deliver training on EV charging products, value propositions, and sales strategies Manage and strengthen partner relationships, proactively identifying growth opportunities and resolving issues Enable partners with sales tools, marketing assets, and technical resources to drive performance Set performance targets, track partner progress, and implement strategies to achieve sales goals Apply market and competitive insights to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion Collaborate cross-functionally to align partner initiatives and improve overall partner experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field 8+ years of experience in channel management, partner management, or business development Experience in EV charging or related technology industries Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills MBA or advanced degree Experience working with reseller and distribution channel models Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking tools Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments Knowledge of EV charging market trends and competitive landscape Location Remote (Chicago area or similar) ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $112,500 to $172,500. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location. As a Sr. SRE, you will work closely with the key stakeholders in Software Engineering to drive adoption of modern reliability practices like SLOs, error budget policies, actionable alerts, incident retrospectives, chaos testing, and end-to-end ownership. Key Accountabilities: Own production reliability, including availability, latency, performance, capacity planning, monitoring, emergency response, and uptime for production environments. Define, maintain, and improve SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, actionable dashboards, and observability practices. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues that affect service reliability and SLO performance. Build and automate multi-environment observability capabilities, including capacity forecasting based on usage patterns. Reduce toil and increase development velocity through automation and continuous improvement. Provide production support, including incident, change, and problem management; root cause analysis; service restoration; runbooks; and standard operating procedures. Identify data-driven opportunities to improve system architecture, availability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with software engineering teams on release management, roadmap planning, and operational readiness. Implement and manage reliability and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with monitoring, APM, and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry. Experience implementing observability strategies for logs, metrics, and traces. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo, and Kargo. Strong understanding of major cloud providers, preferably AWS, and cloud-native infrastructure concepts. Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Helm. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Go, and familiarity with .NET application development.
