The Senior Manager of Large Pro Strategy will work directly with the Senior Director of Partner Strategy and the Large Pro team to drive growth and success for our largest pro partners by diving into the data to find opportunities for improvement, putting together business cases, and driving change via large cross-functional projects. You will devise strategy, build frameworks, structure solutions, manage projects, and drive & measure results in the most critical areas of the business. In this role, you will own and/or support impactful strategic priorities; work with research, analytics, operations and product teams to identify test ideas and execute. You will be expected to know our Large Pro service providers and the operational teams that support them inside and out, serving as a critical thought partner to the Sr Director of Partner Strategy, SVP of Large Pro, pro product, and beyond. What You’ll Be Doing Independently own key strategic initiatives (or critical work streams within it) from initial concept through execution and success measurement. Alongside an all-star team of peers and stakeholders, steer quantitative and qualitative research efforts into financial and operational drivers of Pro success and inform decision-making. Build clear and concise presentations that summarize your findings and lead to clear recommendations. Provide thought partnership to the Partner Strategy team and cross-functional partners. Program manage large strategic changes that involve many teams and span multiple months, building cross-functional buy-in and collaboration, and providing updates and impact to senior leadership. Proactively leverage GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude) to rapidly synthesize complex partner performance data and cross-functional insights, streamlining the creation of strategic proposals and materials, thereby maximizing time for high-value consultative engagement and driving partner growth. Work directly with stakeholders at the highest-value customers to help solve problems that unlock business growth for Angi; develop strategies based on those learnings to apply across the Large Pro network About you Self-starter; owner; someone who can manage and execute projects to completion First class communication skills Maintain a careful balance between attention to detail and swift execution Data-driven Has a strong bias for action Thrive with ambiguity Team player; collaborates and influences effectively with cross-functional team members across the organization What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree or higher 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting, finance, strategy, business development or operations experience Strong analytical and execution background - demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight and decision-making Management consulting experience at a top firm strongly preferred Startup experience is a plus A strong interest in Angi, home services, marketplaces and product-driven organizations Compensation & Benefits The salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package. As a Sr. SRE, you will work closely with the key stakeholders in Software Engineering to drive adoption of modern reliability practices like SLOs, error budget policies, actionable alerts, incident retrospectives, chaos testing, and end-to-end ownership. Key Accountabilities: Own production reliability, including availability, latency, performance, capacity planning, monitoring, emergency response, and uptime for production environments. Define, maintain, and improve SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, actionable dashboards, and observability practices. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues that affect service reliability and SLO performance. Build and automate multi-environment observability capabilities, including capacity forecasting based on usage patterns. Reduce toil and increase development velocity through automation and continuous improvement. Provide production support, including incident, change, and problem management; root cause analysis; service restoration; runbooks; and standard operating procedures. Identify data-driven opportunities to improve system architecture, availability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with software engineering teams on release management, roadmap planning, and operational readiness. Implement and manage reliability and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with monitoring, APM, and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry. Experience implementing observability strategies for logs, metrics, and traces. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo, and Kargo. Strong understanding of major cloud providers, preferably AWS, and cloud-native infrastructure concepts. Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Helm. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Go, and familiarity with .NET application development. Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, software development, systems, networking, and cloud concepts. Experience using AI to improve productivity and amplify technical skills.
