Job description
Job Purpose To drive sales, market and grow the client base for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - specifically gumboots and safety shoes - to B2B clients. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Prospect and acquire new clients: Construction sites, factories, manufacturing plants, mining, oil & gas, NGOs and government institutions Conduct field visits, product demos and safety presentations Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure timely collections Prepare quotations and follow up to closure Client Relationship Management Maintain existing accounts and ensure repeat orders Advise clients on correct PPE as per OSHA / KEBS standards Handle client complaints on quality and delivery âÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂMarket & Reporting Track competitor pricing, products and market trends Submit daily call reports and weekly sales pipeline reports on CRM / HRMIS Liaise with procurement to ensure stock availability Represent the company in safety trade shows and exhibitions Qualifications & Skills Diploma / Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Procurement or related field 1-2 years proven sales experience in PPE, industrial, hardware or safety products is a MUST Knowledge of PPE standards (KEBS, OSHA) Valid driving license is an added advantage Strong negotiation, prospecting and closing skills Target-driven and able to work with minimal supervision Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monthly revenue vs target Number of new clients acquired Client retention and repeat business Market coverage Personal Attributes Presentable, honest and aggressive salesperson Physically fit for field work High integrity - handles safety of lives
