Responsibilities Coordinating the training of functional assessment officers and teaching of functional assessment subjects Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good citizenship within the Division Lead in the implementation of quality management system and risk management strategies with regard to sound financial management system within the Division Coordinating the assessment of children with special needs and disabilities Referring children assessed to service provision points Guide on the placement of children with special needs and disabilities in educational programmes Initiate functional assessment training for assessment staff Monitor Identification and placement of children with special needs and disabilities in schools and institutions Coordinate awareness creation, sensitize and capacity-build teachers, parents and other stakeholders dealing with children with special needs and disabilities Coordinating community outreach services to create sensitization awareness on disabilities Spearhead the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of a robust performance management system within the Division by providing oversight of the delivery of the annual performance contract and the strategic plan Qualifications / Work Experience Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years' relevant work experience, three (3) of which should be at the grade of Principal Assessor or in acomparable position; Bachelors Degree in Education in the area of Special Needs or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; Masters Degree in Education in the area of Special Needs or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution; Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution

Carry out research, prepare publications and participate in conferences to disseminate knowledge generated. Attract funding to the University to support research. Facilitate field studies and assess students during attachments/trips/ internships. Participate in official University meetings and functions. Monitor class attendance sheets to ensure that students sitting for the examinations meet the required lecture attendance of more than four-fifth of all lectures before they can sit for their examinations. Carry out administrative and other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills: Bachelor's degree in a business-related area. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in business development with proven experience in sales, managing client relations, and key account management. Experience in selling Entrepreneurial programmes will be an added advantage. Key Skills and Competencies: Proven experience in research, planning, reporting, and presentation skills. Excellent communication and etiquette skills with a flair for pitching. Strong business development and sales skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key client relationships. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Previous experience in executive education or related fields is advantageous.
