Overview As an Advertising Paid Search Strategist, you are the strategic lead and primary advisor for a portfolio of Rithum's enterprise and strategic advertising clients. You define and execute sophisticated media strategies that connect client business goals to measurable performance outcomes, and you partner across Client Success, Technical Account Management, and Product so that execution holds up as client needs evolve. You are accountable for the growth and performance of the portfolio you own, and for the expert-level platform judgment that client stakeholders and internal teams rely on when making investment decisions. Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy & Ownership Serve as the strategic advertising lead across a portfolio of high-value enterprise and strategic clients, driving planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across digital marketing and retail media platforms Lead discovery and strategic planning sessions to define media strategies that align with client objectives, platform capabilities, and channel best practices Media Plan Execution & Performance Translate client business goals into comprehensive media plans, and own execution and optimization across budgets, bids, audiences, and creative Provide advanced performance analysis and insight that guides campaign strategy and investment decisions, incorporating attribution models, pacing, and return on ad spend (ROAS) Client Advisory & Product Expertise Cultivate strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation Serve as a subject matter expert in Rithum's media products and tooling, educating clients on new features, platform enhancements, and industry trends Track emerging media channels, platform updates, and advertising trends, and apply them to forward-looking client strategy Cross-Functional Partnership & Team Enablement Collaborate with Client Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Product to align execution and product feedback to client goals and evolving needs Mentor Advertising Account Managers, share best practices, and improve team-wide executional consistency Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, media buying, or ecommerce marketing, with proven success managing enterprise or strategic accounts Demonstrated ability to develop strategic advertising plans that drive performance and align with client business objectives Hands-on experience with major platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, and ChatGPT Strong analytical capability, including conducting in-depth analysis and presenting insights to clients and internal teams using dashboard and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI) Demonstrated ability to manage and forecast advertising budgets, making data-driven decisions to maximize efficiency and achieve performance targets across campaigns Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex advertising concepts into clear guidance for technical and non-technical audiences Experience navigating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple stakeholders Strong AI fluency, with experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows and processes to drive efficiency, enhance analysis, and scale impact Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity through research, communication, analysis, documentation, automation, workflow optimization, and decision-making. Build and automate multi-environment observability capabilities, including capacity forecasting based on usage patterns. Reduce toil and increase development velocity through automation and continuous improvement. Identify data-driven opportunities to improve system architecture, availability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with software engineering teams on release management, roadmap planning, and operational readiness. Implement and manage reliability and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
