Roles/Duties & Responsibilities Generate, identify, and follow up on new business leads and opportunities. Drive customer acquisition and convert prospects into business. Promote, sell, and cross-sell relevant insurance products. Work closely with branches and internal teams to identify and pursue business opportunities. Follow up on policy renewals and support customer retention. Maintain an up-to-date database of prospects, clients, opportunities, and follow-ups. Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the customer base and growing business revenue. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Monitor sales activities and performance against assigned targets. Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Insurance, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline Professional qualification in Insurance , Marketing, Sales, or a related field, such as ECOP, COP or ACII will be an added advantage Relevant training from the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) or College of Insurance is an added advantage. Relevant experience in insurance business development, sales, customer acquisition, or relationship management will be an advantage. Strong business development and sales skills. Good knowledge of insurance products and the insurance market. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Target-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales objectives. Team collaboration and coordination skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Analytical and commercially astute, with strong planning, reporting, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong business development and client relationship management skills
