As we continue to grow in the DACH market, we are looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) (f/m/d) to generate new business opportunities and play a key role in our sales engine. Your Mission As a BDR at Apaleo, you are on the front line of our growth. You will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executives through a mix of inbound lead qualification and proactive outbound prospecting. This is a high-impact, target-driven role with a clear path towards an Account Executive position. What You’ll Be Up To Own and manage inbound leads with speed and strong qualification standards Proactively build pipeline through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn) Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets (e.g. meetings booked, qualified opportunities) Run structured discovery conversations to understand customer needs and identify pain points Engage decision-makers in the hospitality industry and position Apaleo’s value proposition Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality handover of opportunities Leverage our partner ecosystem to identify and generate additional leads Maintain clean and accurate data in HubSpot and use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, and Modjo to optimise your performance What You’ll Bring to the Team Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS, sales development, or a comparable commercial role Strong interest in outbound prospecting and building pipeline Comfortable working with targets, KPIs, and performance metrics Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum C1 level required for both, for the DACH market) Confidence in engaging and challenging decision-makers Strong discovery and listening skills, you know how to uncover real customer needs High level of resilience, ownership, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment Curiosity and willingness to learn, especially in a tech-driven product environment Extra consideration for: Experience in hospitality or hospitality tech or SaaS or similar background Familiarity with modern sales tools (e.g. HubSpot, Sales Navigator etc.) Additional language proficiency in Italian or Spanish, or French is a plus What We Offer Career & Growth Clear and structured career path towards Account Executive or other revenue roles Dedicated onboarding and continuous sales training (tools, product, methodologies) Regular feedback cycles and development support Opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company and directly impact revenue growth Culture & Growth A Diverse & International Team: Work alongside passionate professionals from over 20 nationalities, bringing unique cultural perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to shape the future of hospitality tech. As a Sr. SRE, you will work closely with the key stakeholders in Software Engineering to drive adoption of modern reliability practices like SLOs, error budget policies, actionable alerts, incident retrospectives, chaos testing, and end-to-end ownership. Key Accountabilities: Own production reliability, including availability, latency, performance, capacity planning, monitoring, emergency response, and uptime for production environments. Define, maintain, and improve SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, actionable dashboards, and observability practices. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues that affect service reliability and SLO performance. Build and automate multi-environment observability capabilities, including capacity forecasting based on usage patterns. Reduce toil and increase development velocity through automation and continuous improvement. Provide production support, including incident, change, and problem management; root cause analysis; service restoration; runbooks; and standard operating procedures. Identify data-driven opportunities to improve system architecture, availability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with software engineering teams on release management, roadmap planning, and operational readiness. Implement and manage reliability and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with monitoring, APM, and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry. Experience implementing observability strategies for logs, metrics, and traces. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo, and Kargo.
