Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Insurance Sales professional will identify prospective clients, present suitable insurance solutions, and close sales across various product lines, including life, health, and general insurance. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, assessing customer needs, preparing quotations, and processing applications in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves ongoing customer service, policy reviews, and renewals to ensure retention and satisfaction, as well as collaboration with internal teams and brokerage partners where applicable. The Insurance Sales professional will also participate in marketing initiatives, maintain accurate sales records, and meet individual and team sales targets. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and a solid understanding of Insurance products and markets. Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to handle inquiries, provide support, and build long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage, including working with intermediaries and navigating brokerage channels. Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Insurance products, underwriting basics, and claims processes. Relevant academic qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage. Proven experience in insurance or financial services sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly. High level of integrity, accountability, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple clients, and maintain accurate documentation. Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales management tools is beneficial.
