Job description
As a Pre-Employment Coordinator with Amentum, you will provide a wide range of support including but not limited to: Processing candidates compliantly and tracking candidate activity through Amentum's Talent Acquisition System of Record and processes including initiating, coordinating and adjudicating background checks, drug screens, medicals, security clearance processing, facility accesses, local country immigration and emigration regulations. Liaising with other functional departments including Security, HR, and Operations to ensure all pre-employment requirements are met as expeditiously as possible. Independently managing a high volume of new hires' activities. Follow complex workflows applying standard operating procedures and policies to ensure a consistent application of Company Policies and Procedures, legal compliance and contract specific requirements. Documents actions and outcomes in multiple systems working within established Service Level Agreements. Develop an understanding of the business and organization structure, aligning requests to TA objectives. Assisting with various Talent Acquisition and Security projects as needed. Assisting with travel coordination activities as needed. Perform other qualified duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Marketing or related area is required. Equivalent years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of education. Two years of experience with Workday in a recruiting department preferred; other relevant experience may be considered. Adaptability, working independently, time management and business acumen. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Flexibility to work across international time-zones. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and team skills. Experience using MS-Office suite [Word, Excel and Power Point] is required. Desired: Experience with Task Order staffing and DoS or DoD contracts a plus. Strong knowledge of government contract pre-employment, deployment, and travel strategy and understanding of security clearances. Language Skills: Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels. Ability to speak, write, read and comprehends English. Reasoning Abilities: Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point required. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently. Other knowledge, skills and abilities: Extremely flexible, with the ability to work through stressful situations in a professional manner. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Cross- cultural sensitivity and international perspective necessary. Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. Ability to handle multiple tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
