Job description
Duties and responsibilities at this level include carrying out data entry into the procurement and inventory management information systems; receiving, arranging, and issuing goods in the stores; participating in the inspection and receipt of goods; carrying out stocktaking and record reconciliation; ensuring security and safety in the store; maintaining stock and store records; ensuring orderliness in the store; and identifying obsolete stores and equipment for disposal. For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: - Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; Membership to Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) and in good standing; and Proficiency in computer applications.
